In case you haven't picked up on it yet, Heather Jahn Portrait Design is probably a different kind of portrait adventure than what you've experienced at other studios. When you come to my studio, you're making an investment - not only in art for your home but heirlooms for generations to come.

Every aspect of what I do at the studio has been designed to create an experience you will actualy enjoy and products that you will treasure..not toss in a shoe box with the intention of doing 'something with them someday'.

I don't charge by the hour and I always schedule enough time to allow you to chill out, relax, and enjoy our time together. There's no need to rush or feel pressured because of time constraints, especially if you have children. They are unpredictable little things and will certainly need time to warm up, have a snack, a diaper change and maybe even a melt-down. Yep, it happens all the time so don't fret!

Studio Sessions for couples, families and kids are $45.

Pets are welcome as long as they don't lift a leg on my backgrounds.

Location Sessions are $135.

I do not photograph weddings...because I'm not that crazy.

Limited Edition Sessions are offered throughout the year featuring a unique theme, products, designs and frames.

Because I want your portraits to be preserved well beyond our lifetime, I offer an exceptional line of prints that boast some dandy (and rather necessary) attributes. While you are at the studio,you will be able to see and touch samples of these materials. Once you select your final images for printing, we will discuss which finishes compliment the image and offer the best functionality for the space they will be displayed.

With the exception of a select few, all of your prints will be mounted. This adds durability and saves your prints from little dings and creases that sometimes happen when we least expect it. Prints larger than 8x10 include my favorite basic black frame, or what I like to call 'The Little Black Dress". It's simple, elegant and goes with just about decor. If you prefer something that matches your shoes and handbag, upgrade options are available.

Most importantly, I want you to be thrilled by your artwork! If, for whatever reason, you don't think your finished prints are absolutely sublime, we can re-order them with a different finish or I will buy them back from you.

One last note: Since my studio is in my home, appointments are requested anytime you need to come by...unless you don't mind if I answer the door in my bath robe and bunny slippers.
